Family Health Team (FHT)- Mental Health Services
The program aims to increase accessibility to mental health care for primary care patients. Over 60 family physicians have access to a team of mental health counsellors and consulting psychiatrists.
Services Offered:
- Brief, time-limited therapy to individual, families and couples
- Psycho educational groups
- Psychiatric consultation
Eligibility for FHT Services:
Any enrolled patient of a Barrie and Community Family Health Team physician
Hours: 9am-5pm Mon-Fri
To Access Service: Physician referral.
